                                The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) will honor a diverse group of performers at its 41st edition in February 2026. Among the recipients of the prestigious Virtuosos Award are Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi, recognized for their remarkable contributions to film.

The Virtuosos Awards are set for February 8, 2026, at the historic Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara. This year, the festival will celebrate eight talented actors who have made significant strides in their careers.
2026 Virtuosos Award Recipients
- Sydney Sweeney: Honored for her performance in “Christy.”
- Jacob Elordi: Recognized for his role in “Frankenstein.”
- Chase Infiniti and Teyana Taylor: Celebrated for their performances in “One Battle After Another.”
- Jeremy Allen White: Acknowledged for his leading role as Bruce Springsteen in “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere.”
- Amy Madigan: Recognized for her performance in “Weapons.”
- Wagner Moura: Honored for “The Secret Agent.”
- Renate Reinsve: Celebrated for her work in “Sentimental Value.”
The event will feature individual and collective interviews moderated by TCM host Dave Karger, marking his 16th year in this role. Recipients will receive their awards from a surprise presenter during the ceremony.

Dave Karger expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event, stating, “This year’s group of Virtuosos are as impressive as they are eclectic.” He highlighted the mix of international actors and rising stars from acclaimed television series.
