With a record of 2-15=17 points and 24 penalty minutes in 71 games during his first NHL season in 2023-24, he ranked seventh in assists and eighth in points among all-time Ducks rookie defensemen. After debuting at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season post his collegiate career, LaCombe promptly made his mark, tallying his first goal on January 20, 2024, against San Jose and registering his first NHL point with an assist on October 15, 2023, against Carolina.
