United Airlines Expands 2026 Summer Schedule with Third Tel Aviv-New York Flight

United Airlines Expands Tel Aviv to New York/Newark Flights in 2026
Increased Connectivity Between Tel Aviv and New York/Newark
United Airlines has unveiled plans to introduce a third flight frequency between Tel Aviv and New York/Newark, set to commence on March 30, 2026. The addition will enhance United’s existing service, which currently operates twice daily on this popular route. This move is part of the airline’s broader strategy as outlined in its Summer 2026 schedule, which also includes expansion to four new European destinations, further solidifying United’s leadership in transatlantic travel.
Enhanced Flight Options and Seamless Connections
United remains the top U.S. carrier operating out of Tel Aviv, and the introduction of this additional frequency will provide customers in Israel with increased travel flexibility and options. According to Marcel Fuchs, United’s managing director of international sales, the airline plans to offer up to four nonstop daily flights from Tel Aviv to the United States next summer. This expansion will facilitate smooth connections to over 100 destinations across the Americas.
Detailed Flight Schedule and Fleet Information
The new Tel Aviv–New York/Newark flight (UA168/167) will run four times weekly on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The flights will depart Tel Aviv at 12:55 a.m., arriving in Newark at 5:45 a.m. Return flights from Newark are scheduled to leave at 8:20 p.m., reaching Tel Aviv at 2 p.m. the next day.
Broader Route Expansion Across Europe and Asia
Alongside the Tel Aviv-New York route expansion, United’s 2026 plans include new nonstop services from New York/Newark to Split, Croatia; Bari, Italy; Glasgow, Scotland; and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Furthermore, the airline will introduce flights between Washington/Dulles and Reykjavik, Iceland. The airline is also expanding its transpacific operations with year-round daily flights between New York/Newark and Seoul, South Korea.
