Parton shared that the loss of her husband, Carl Dean, earlier this year had taken a toll on her, leading her to neglect her health. Upon consulting her doctor, she was advised to take care of some health matters, which required her to cancel several engagements to stay closer to home. “Nothing major,” she assured, but necessary nonetheless.

Previously in September, Dolly Parton had announced the postponement of her Las Vegas concerts due to health challenges requiring a few medical procedures. “I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see,” she explained to fans, emphasizing her dedication to delivering top-notch performances.
While these developments will keep her away from the stage for a while, Parton confirmed that she’ll continue working on projects from her Nashville home. “I just need a little time to get show ready,” she added, reassuring fans of her return.
