The event saw several stellar names being recognized, including Northern Superchargers’ Davina Perrin, along with Jordan Cox, Rehan Ahmed, and Emma Lamb, each bringing their exceptional seasons to the spotlight.

Jordan Cox Leads With a Remarkable Season

Standing out among the awardees, Jordan Cox from Essex clinched a treble victory, securing titles such as the Toyota PCA Men’s Player of the Year, The Hundred Men’s Player of the Year, and a coveted spot in the IG PCA Men’s Team of the Year. His dynamic performance reintegrated him into the national team. Cox’s achievements are further underscored by his unmatched 1,667 runs over the past year, making him a deserving recipient amid tough competition from notable players like Joe Root and Ed Barnard.

Emma Lamb Triumphs in PCA Women’s Player of the Year Category

Emma Lamb’s phenomenal consistency throughout the season earned her the Toyota PCA Women’s Player of the Year award. Representing Lancashire, Lamb amassed an impressive 1,312 domestic runs and maintained a strong presence in England’s World Cup squad. Her outstanding achievements secured her place atop the PCA Women’s Domestic Overall MVP table, with noteworthy accolades including being the leading run-scorer in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.

Rehan Ahmed and Davina Perrin: The Rising Stars

Rehan Ahmed’s versatility proved vital in Leicestershire’s promotion to the Rothesay County Championship Division One, winning him the Toyota PCA Men’s Young Player of the Year award. Similarly, teenage wonder Davina Perrin stood out as the Toyota PCA Women’s Young Player of the Year for her stellar performances with Warwickshire and Northern Superchargers.

Celebrating Notable Contributions and Recognitions

The evening also honored Graham Gooch with the PCA Outstanding Contribution Award for his extensive support to cricket, as well as other distinguished figures in the sport. The ECB Special Merit award was bestowed upon the BBC series ‘Freddie Flintoff’s Field of Dreams’, while Rado Recognition Awards were awarded to Adil Rashid and Nat Sciver-Brunt for their international commitments and contributions.
