Pronger will make his debut on October 13, coinciding with the start of Prime Video’s second season of Monday night doubleheaders. The Toronto Maple Leafs will face the Detroit Red Wings at 4 p.m. ET, followed by a matchup between the St. Louis Blues and the Vancouver Canucks at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Chris Pronger, a former NHL defenseman, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Throughout his career, Pronger participated in 1,167 NHL games and achieved numerous accolades. He won the Hart Trophy in 2000 as the League MVP while playing for the St. Louis Blues, becoming the last defenseman to win the award. That same year, he clinched the Norris Trophy for being the League’s top defenseman. Pronger’s illustrious career also includes winning the Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007, being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015, and securing two Olympic gold medals with Team Canada in 2002 and 2010.
