Joyful celebrations erupted in Hostages Square as preparations for the release process began. The Israeli government has detailed the expected unfolding of today’s release of hostages from Gaza.
The Release Plan
Israel announced that 20 hostages held in Gaza would be freed without any propaganda displays from Hamas. These individuals will be handed over to the Red Cross and transported in a convoy of six to eight vehicles. Prisoner Exchange
After ensuring the safe transfer of hostages to Israeli territory, Israel will release Palestinian detainees. The plan involves freeing 250 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,700 individuals detained after October 7, 2023. On Saturday, prisoners designated for release were transferred to deportation complexes in Ofer and Ketziot prisons.
