Rush Expands 2026 Tour with Additional Dates Doubling Its Duration

Rush is set to return to the stage for the first time since drummer Neil Peart’s passing, expanding their 2026 tour due to high demand. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announced the addition of 11 new shows to their Fifty Something Tour, effectively doubling its duration. This news comes as a relief to fans who have eagerly awaited the band’s return.
Expanded Tour Details
The tour will now include multiple performances in major North American cities. The expansion features:
- Two extra shows in Los Angeles
- Two performances in Fort Worth
- Two concerts in Chicago
- Two events in New York City
- Two shows in Toronto
- One additional date in Cleveland
Mexico City will continue to host a single performance.
Performance and Setlist Information
This tour signifies Lee and Lifeson’s first complete shows together since their last tour in 2015. Notably, Anika Nilles will step in as the drummer for these performances. Each show will be an “evening with,” featuring two sets of music drawn from a catalog of 35 songs.
Tour Launch and Ticket Information
The Fifty Something Tour is scheduled to kick off on June 7, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the very venue that hosted Rush’s final show with Peart on August 1, 2015. Ticket sales will begin with artist presales on Monday, followed by general sales on October 17.
