Wallenpaupack Brewing Company, based in Hawley, Pennsylvania, achieved remarkable success at the recent Great American Beer Festival. The event, which took place from October 9 to 11, 2023, in Denver, Colorado, saw the brewery earning three prestigious medals.

Medals and Recognitions

    • Cracking Weisse
    • Cracking Weisse with raspberry
  • Silver Medal for:
    • Kroon

Cracking Weisse is recognized as a German sour ale, and the raspberry version is a specialty Berliner-style Weisse. Kroon is celebrated as a Belgian-style strong specialty ale. Wallenpaupack was one of only four Pennsylvania breweries to win awards at the festival. The other medal-winning breweries were from Allentown and Pittsburgh.
