Hugh Frost, founder of Beetham, expressed optimism regarding the project’s progress. “We’re pleased with the council’s continued support and guidance for the project. This transaction, if approved, is another piece of the jigsaw,” he stated.

Initially, the arena was reported to be 250,000 sq ft, but subsequent clarifications indicate it will actually cover approximately 25,000 sq ft. The council’s report will clarify these details as preparations for a formal submission proceed.
