GenusPlus Group Ltd, listed on the ASX as GNP, has recently secured new contracts amounting to approximately $75 million with Western Power. These contracts encompass ongoing work related to the Clean Energy Link – North (CELN) project and a new initiative focused on underground power network renewal.

New Contracts Overview

The awarded contracts include:

  • CELN Project: Approximately $50 million for design and construction.
  • Network Renewal Undergrounding Power Project (NRUPP): Approximately $25 million for network upgrades.

Details of the CELN Project

The Clean Energy Link – North project is instrumental in enhancing Western Australia’s electricity infrastructure. Key features of the project include:

  • Design and construction of a new 132kV dual circuit transmission line.
  • Associated works for 132kV and 330kV transmission enabling and line conversion.

This initiative will bolster the connection and transmission of renewable energy from the Mid West region to the broader network, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Network Renewal Undergrounding Power Project (NRUPP)

The NRUPP will focus on undergrounding power lines in specific areas determined by a strategic, network-driven approach. This project aims to enhance the reliability and safety of the power network across the region.
