The York-based country singer Twinnie is currently enjoying a wave of success marked by significant nominations, a tour announcement, and an amusing collaboration with comedian Rob Brydon.

Upcoming Awards Recognition

Twinnie has received nominations for two prestigious awards at the 2025 British Country Music Association (BCMA) Awards. She is recognized for:

  • Best Female Artist
  • Best Single for her song “Hypothetically”

Career and Background

Originally from York, Twinnie relocated to Nashville in 2023 to further her music career. She began her journey in musical theatre, earning acclaim on the West End. Additionally, she starred as Porsche McQueen in the soap opera Hollyoaks and joined the cast of Emmerdale in 2024.

Collaborative Experience with Rob Brydon

Twinnie recently featured in the BBC Two documentary “Rob Brydon’s Honky Tonk Road Trip,” which aired on October 5. In the show, she guided Brydon through Nashville, sharing her knowledge of the city and teaching him the two-step dance.
