The 2025 National Championships showcased remarkable talent and competitive spirit among youth soccer teams across Canada. The tournament culminated on Thanksgiving Monday, featuring some exciting matches that crowned new champions.

Championship Highlights
Four clubs celebrated their first national youth titles in this year’s competition:
- Glen Shields Juventus FC (Girls, U-17, Kamloops, British Columbia)
- Suburban FC (Boys, U-17, Kamloops, British Columbia)
- CS Optimum Victoriaville (Girls, U-15, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island)
- Milton Magic FC (Boys, U-15, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island)
U-17 Cup Finals
The U-17 Cup finals featured two gripping matches. In the Boys’ division, Suburban FC from Bedford, Nova Scotia, narrowly defeated Saskatoon Alliance with a score of 2-1. Michael Allt from Suburban FC received the MVP award for his outstanding performance.
In the Girls’ U-17 final, Glen Shields Juventus FC emerged victorious over PEI FC Charlottetown. The match ended dramatically with a score of 3-2, and Victoria Pimenta was honored as the tournament’s MVP.
U-15 Cup Finals
Similarly, the U-15 Cup finals introduced new champions. Milton Magic FC won the Boys’ title with a tight 1-0 win against Saguenay Lac Saint-Jean, where Ethan Secondino was awarded MVP for his contributions throughout the tournament.
In the Girls’ U-15 final, CS Optimum Victoriaville delivered an impressive 3-0 victory over Winnipeg Phoenix FC. Fée Houde from Victoriaville showcased exceptional skill, earning her the MVP recognition.
Record Participation and Growth
This year’s National Championships highlighted a significant year for Canada Soccer, marking the largest participation in history. A total of 580 youth teams entered qualifying competitions from September 2024 to September 2025.
Out of these, 48 teams advanced to compete in the National Championships, reflecting Canada’s commitment to youth development in soccer. The event provided invaluable experiences for players, coaches, and volunteers involved in the sport.
