Vue Harrow, located in St George’s Shopping Centre in Harrow Town Centre, is recognizing Black History Month with a curated selection of films. This special lineup highlights the lives and achievements of iconic Black figures through cinema. The celebration will continue throughout October, featuring diverse narratives that resonate with audiences.
Film Lineup for Black History Month
The film season kicked off with a screening of “Ray,” the acclaimed biographical film that chronicles the life of music legend Ray Charles. Directed by the Oscar-winning Taylor Hackford and based on a script by James L. White, this film stars Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, and Regina King. The portrayal of Ray Charles has become a significant piece of cinematic history.
