Nissan announces recall of over 173000 US vehicles due to fuel pump problem

Issue Details
The root of the issue is linked to fuel tank temperature sensor harnesses. These may be incorrectly routed, potentially damaging wires and resulting in a short circuit within the fuel pump fuse. This defect increases the risk of the engine stalling unexpectedly.

This recall follows a previous one by Nissan in the U.S., which involved 443,899 vehicles due to engine failure problems.
