Previous Incidents

This tragic event adds to the concerns surrounding military training safety. Likewise, in 2021, two Australian soldiers lost their lives in a single-vehicle rollover near the Townsville Field Training Area.

This recent incident serves as a somber reminder of the risks associated with military training exercises and the importance of safety measures in place.
