Cape Coral TikToker Arrest Update Found Hiding in Car Floorboard During Police Capture
A Cape Coral TikTok influencer, Marlena Velez, has been apprehended for violating her probation terms. Velez, previously charged with multiple thefts from Target, stirred attention on social media by posting about her activities.
Chase and Capture in Cape Coral
On September 29, Cape Coral police attempted to stop Velez’s vehicle on Cultural Park Boulevard. Known from her past offenses, officers recognized her. However, Velez sped off before the officer could reach her, prompting police to halt the pursuit due to the presence of children in the residential area.
Discovery and Arrest
Efforts to locate Velez continued as she remained active on TikTok, confirming her presence in the area. During a routine patrol on October 12, officers spotted her vehicle again. Upon stopping the car, Velez, initially in the passenger seat, was discovered hiding on the floorboard in proximity to a child’s car seat.
Legal Implications and Charges
