FACE Program 2025 Recipients Announced by COC, CPC, CAC, and Petro-Canada

On October 15, 2025, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), Coaching Association of Canada (CAC), and Petro-Canada announced the recipients of the Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence (FACE) Program for 2025. This program is now in its 37th year and aims to support athletes and coaches in their pursuit of Olympic and Paralympic aspirations.

Overview of the FACE Program

Since its inception in 1988, the FACE Program has allocated over $14 million to assist more than 3,500 athletes and coaches across Canada. The financial support is crucial for those who are not yet eligible for government funding.

Recipient Details for 2025

This year, a total of 55 athlete-coach pairs have been selected as recipients. Each pair will receive $10,000 to cover various expenses, including:

  • Training costs
  • Equipment purchases
  • Educational expenses
  • Travel costs
