Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley has canceled his remaining tour dates for 2025 amid ongoing medical issues. The 74-year-old musician made this announcement shortly after withdrawing from a performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California. This decision followed a minor fall at his home that required a hospital visit.

On October 6, 2025, a statement was shared on Frehley’s social media accounts. It disclosed, “Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates.” The announcement was made just weeks after his previous cancelation, which was attributed to injuries from his fall.
Current Band and Projects
Frehley’s backing band includes accomplished musicians Ryan Spencer (bass), Jeremy Asbrock (guitar), and Scot Coogan (drums). While dealing with his health concerns, Frehley has also confirmed that he is actively working on “Origins Vol. 3.” This album will be the third installment in his series of cover songs that pays homage to his musical influences, following “Origins Vol. 1” and “Origins Vol. 2.”
