Focus on the Future

The 2025 championships mark the beginning of the journey toward the 2028 Los Angeles Games. Notably, there are no team events this year as federations prepare for future Olympic competitions.

U.S. Gymnastics Roster

The U.S. men’s team includes Asher Hong and Brody Malone from the Olympic bronze medal-winning squad. They are joined by seasoned competitor Donnell Whittenburg, who matches Simone Biles’ record of six world appearances. Newcomers Kameron Nelson, Patrick Hoopes, and Brandon Dang round out the men’s lineup.

On the women’s side, Olympic alternates Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson will compete alongside 2024 U.S. all-around silver medalist Skye Blakely. Rookie Dulcy Caylor, who clinched an all-around victory at a selection competition on September 30, also joins the team. U.S. women have historically reached the all-around podium at every major competition since 2003.

International Competitors to Watch

Several international stars will also compete, including Japanese athletes Shinnosuke Oka and Daiki Hashimoto, the last two Olympic men’s all-around gold medalists. Kaylia Nemour of Algeria, the Olympic uneven bars gold medalist, joins the field of elite competitors aiming for glory.
