Ben Cameron debuted for South Australia in 2004, wearing the prestigious cap number 570. Throughout his playing career, he represented the state in 19 matches across First Class and List A formats until 2007.

After retiring, Cameron continued to contribute to South Australian cricket through various roles within SACA. From 2012 to 2022, he served as a coach and talent specialist.
