Westlife to Thrill Fans with Five Exciting Dublin 3Arena Concerts: ‘No Better Feeling Than Coming Home’

Westlife, the iconic pop group, is set to enthrall fans with five concert performances at Dublin’s 3Arena from September 22 to 26. This series of shows will mark a significant milestone, bringing their total performances at the venue to an impressive 74, an unparalleled achievement in the arena’s history.

Celebrating 25 Years of Success

The concerts will coincide with Westlife’s 25th anniversary, a testament to their enduring popularity. The band’s repertoire includes hits such as “Flying Without Wings,” “Swear It Again,” and “You Raise Me Up,” which have contributed to their status as one of the most successful pop bands in history.

Impressive Achievements

  • Over 55 million records sold worldwide
  • 36 number-one albums globally
  • 14 UK number-one singles, behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles
  • More than three billion global streams of their music
  • Over one billion views on YouTube
  • More than six million tickets sold for their shows worldwide

The band’s member, Shane Filan, expressed excitement in a recent statement, saying, “There’s no better feeling than coming home to Dublin. This city has been at the heart of our story since the beginning.” He emphasized the electric atmosphere of their performances and the joy of celebrating with their fans.

Mark Feehily’s Temporary Absence

Although the band is eager to celebrate, Mark Feehily will not participate in the upcoming concerts due to health issues. He has been open about his health challenges, including a serious battle with sepsis during the pandemic and a hernia surgery last year. Feehily announced in February 2024 that he would step back from touring to prioritize his recovery. Westlife hopes he will rejoin them when he is able.

Future Performances

Additionally, Westlife is preparing for two sold-out concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 27 and 28. These performances will showcase new arrangements of their classic hits alongside the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. Fans can also expect a recorded screening of the concert in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on November 29.

The pre-sale for the Dublin concerts will begin on the upcoming Monday at 9 AM, providing fans with a chance to secure their tickets early. Westlife’s commitment to their music and fans continues to resonate strongly, making their return to Dublin highly anticipated.
