AXS Expands Leadership Team with New Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer Roles

AXS has announced significant expansions in its leadership, highlighting its commitment to technology and innovation. The company has appointed Nikhil Bobde as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and has introduced a Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) role occupied by Alex Hazboun.
New Appointments at AXS
Nikhil Bobde joins AXS from Thumbtack, where he served as CTO for three years. His extensive experience includes a decade at Facebook as the Senior Director of Engineering and nearly 14 years at Microsoft as a Principal Development Manager. Bobde will be based in the Bay Area and report directly to AXS CEO, Bryan Perez.
In addition to Bobde, Alex Hazboun has transitioned to the newly established CIO position. Hazboun, a long-standing AXS employee, previously held the CTO role since 2016. He will now report to Bobde and is located in Los Angeles.
Expanding Operations
The company plans to open a new office in the Bay Area to attract emerging talent. This development aligns with AXS’s strategy to enhance its technological capabilities.
