Designer Brands reveals leadership change with new CFO appointment

Designer Brands has announced a significant leadership change within its financial department. Jared Poff, the company’s Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer, will resign effective October 31, 2025. His departure is to pursue a new professional opportunity.

Interim CFO Appointment

In light of Poff’s resignation, Mark Haley has been appointed as the Interim Chief Financial Officer. The transition will take effect on November 1, 2025. Haley currently holds the role of Senior Vice President, Controller, and Principal Accounting Officer.

Mark Haley’s Background

Mark Haley has been with Designer Brands since January 2019. Prior to this, he served as Vice President and Controller from 2017 to 2019. He brings extensive experience from previous positions in senior accounting roles at Conn’s, Coldwater Creek, SUPERVALU, and Deloitte & Touche LLP.

Leadership Transition

During Haley’s interim tenure, he will collaborate closely with the financial and accounting leadership teams at Designer Brands. This is to ensure a seamless transition while the search for a permanent CFO continues.
