Jack Miller delivered an impressive performance in the first practice session (FP1) at Phillip Island. Competing for Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP, Miller secured the top spot at his home Grand Prix, thrilling the local fans. He is known for his strong history at this venue, having achieved a podium finish here in 2019.

The weather conditions were blustery, creating a challenging environment for the riders. Despite starting slowly and being outside the top ten for most of the session, Miller made his move during the closing moments. His late flying lap allowed him to better his competitors, notably overtaking Alex Marquez, who was riding for BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP.
