Defending Champion Withdraws from Competition

Tommy Paul, the defending champion of the Nordic Open, has withdrawn from the ATP tournament in Stockholm. The American player, who claimed victory in the Royal Tennis Hall in both 2021 and 2022, has faced ongoing injury issues this year. He was also unable to compete in the current Masters tournament held in Shanghai.

In light of Paul’s withdrawal, Jacob Fearnley from the UK will take his place. Additionally, Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov has also withdrawn. He is reportedly still recovering from a shoulder injury sustained this past summer. Sebastian Korda has been designated to replace Dimitrov in the tournament.
