Philippines’ Emma Tiglao Crowned Miss Grand International 2025

Emma Mary Tiglao from Pampanga has won the prestigious title of Miss Grand International 2025. The coronation took place on October 18, at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. Tiglao prevailed over 76 competitors to achieve this honor, marking a significant milestone for the Philippines.

Significant Achievements and Recognition

In addition to claiming the crown, Tiglao received the Country’s Power of the Year award, securing her a position in the Top 22. This victory represents the Philippines’ consecutive win in the global pageant, following CJ Opiaza’s triumph.

Emma’s Inspirational Speech

During the speech segment of the event, Emma passionately addressed issues affecting her country. She remarked on how corruption oppresses lives and emphasized the importance of compassion and hope:

  • “Peace begins when parents teach children compassion.”
  • “Let love be the grandest voice to peace.”

Stunning Fashion Selections

Emma’s evening gown, designed by Rian Fernandez, featured a striking orange and gold ensemble. This look symbolized power and transformation, much like a phoenix. Her preliminary red gown, however, received mixed reactions.

Strong Presence and Fashion Impact

Upon arriving in Thailand, Emma showcased a captivating gold, Thai-inspired outfit by Chico Estiva. For the sashing ceremony, she wore a high-fashion piece by Jason Castillo, which exuded bridal elegance and fantasy.

Emma also impressed at the national costume parade with “Mayari: The Lunar Empress of Pampanga,” designed by Patrick Isorena, splendidly reflecting her heritage.

Past Pageantry Experience

Emma is no newcomer to the world of pageantry. She was previously crowned Miss Grand International Philippines on August 24 and has represented the Philippines at Miss Intercontinental 2019, where she reached the Top 20. Founded in 2013, Miss Grand International is currently in its 13th edition and is operated by MGI PCL.

Tiglao’s victory not only brings pride to her home province but also to the entire nation, demonstrating the Philippines’ strength in global pageantry.
