Flair Unveils New B2B Strategy with Express Tour Operator, Bundle Deals, and Resale Option

Flair Airlines has recently announced a comprehensive B2B strategy aimed at expanding its market presence and enhancing customer experience. This initiative was unveiled during an exclusive event at Twist Gallery in Toronto on October 16, where the airline’s executive team showcased forthcoming projects.

Key Developments in Flair Airlines’ New B2B Strategy

Flair’s new business strategy encompasses several innovative offerings, including a dedicated sales team, a travel agency portal, and expanded fare bundles. These initiatives aim to better serve travel agencies and small to medium-sized businesses.

Launch of Flair Vacations

Among the most significant announcements was the introduction of “Flair Vacations.” This new service, developed in partnership with HBX Group, aims to provide all-inclusive vacation packages. Set to launch in December, these packages will include airfare, hotel accommodations, and transfer services, fulfilling a long-standing demand from customers.

New Travel Agency Portal

  • The travel agency portal went live on the same night as the event.
  • It offers a commission rate of 3% on base fares and ancillaries.
  • Travel agents can modify client reservations up to seven days before departure.

Enhancements for Passenger Experience

Flair Airlines is also looking to improve customer experiences through various initiatives:

Introduction of Flair Express

Starting December 3, customers purchasing a carry-on bag will receive Zone 1 boarding privileges. This change aims to reduce stress related to luggage restrictions and improve the boarding experience.

New Fare Bundles

  • Basic Bundle: Includes a personal item.
  • Lite Bundle: Includes a carry-on bag and Flair Express.
  • Plus Bundle: Offers a checked bag and personal item.
  • MAX Bundle: Includes all features available.

Innovative Ticket Resale Service

Flair will become the first North American airline to implement a ticket resale service through a collaboration with Fairlyne. This program allows customers to resell tickets if they cannot travel, potentially offering a better refund than simply not showing up.

Moving Beyond Low-Cost Carrier Perception

Flair Airlines is actively repositioning itself beyond the ultra-low-cost carrier image. With a fleet of 20 aircraft and a commitment to reliable service, Flair is focusing on value rather than just cost.

As part of its strategy, the airline has made several recent improvements, including launching a faster website and providing better transparency during flight delays. Flair’s commitment to enhancing customer experience is evident through its On-Time Guarantee and Apple AirTag bag tracking service.

Through these innovations and the rollout of new services and products, Flair Airlines aims to redefine its brand and ensure that it meets evolving customer expectations.
