As the day progresses, clouds will accumulate, and the chance of light sprinkles may occur in areas north of I-20. However, precipitation will remain minimal.
Sunday Rain and Thunderstorms
Early Sunday morning, rain and thunderstorms will move into the region as a cold front passes through Georgia. Rain is anticipated between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m., with heavier downpours likely south of the metro area.
Residents in counties like Griffin, Pike, Lamar, and Upson may experience rumbles of thunder. While the rainfall will be beneficial after a dry spell, it is not expected to disrupt the day significantly.
