Detroit marathon 2025 kicks off as runners hit the starting line
The much-anticipated Detroit Marathon 2025 has officially kicked off, bringing together runners from around the globe. The event is notable for its vibrant atmosphere and the sense of community it fosters as participants hit the starting line in downtown Detroit.

This year’s marathon weekend began with a series of exciting races, including the popular 1-Mile run, which took place near the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. The main event commenced on Sunday, October 19, marking the 48th annual race presented by MSU Federal Credit Union.
