Willy Healy of Glenamoy Mayo Passes Away: A Tribute to His Life and Legacy
Willy Healy, a beloved figure from Glenamoy, County Mayo, passed away peacefully at Sonas Nursing Home in Belmullet on October 18, 2025. He was known for his kind and gentle spirit.
A Life Remembered
Willy, previously of New York, was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Bridget Healy, as well as his sister, Agnes. He is survived by an extensive family who will fondly remember him.

His gentle nature earned him a special place in many hearts, and his family expresses deep sorrow at his passing. “May Willy’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace,” they stated.
Funeral Arrangements
Willy’s remains will rest at Healys Funeral Home in Barnatra (F26 DY62) on Monday, October 20, from 5 PM to 7 PM. Following this, they will be transferred to St. Paul’s Church in Glenamoy (F26 K660) with arrival scheduled for 8:30 PM.
The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 21, at 12 noon. Following the service, he will be buried in Glenamoy Cemetery.
