Four teams from the Frontier League have secured No. 2 seeds for the upcoming Section 3 soccer tournaments. The Watertown boys team, along with the girls squads from Beaver River and Copenhagen, will compete as the tournament begins this week.

Watertown Boys Team
The Watertown boys, seeded second in Class AA, boast an impressive 14-1 record. They achieved a perfect 10-0 in league play, securing the Division I title. The Cyclones are on a 14-game winning streak, having only lost their season opener. They will receive a first-round bye and face either Central Square or Oswego in their quarterfinal match at Watertown High School on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Class A Teams
- South Jefferson (11-4) is the third seed.
- Indian River (9-7) has the fourth seed.
South Jefferson, which reached the sectional final last year, will host either Central Valley Academy or Homer in a quarterfinal at 6 p.m. on Friday. Indian River will host fifth-seeded Chittenango in a quarterfinal match on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Class B Seeds
Lowville, with a record of 10-5-1, has earned the fourth seed and is set to host Canastota (3-12-1), the 13th seed, on Tuesday at 6 p.m. General Brown (3-12-1) will face third-seeded Cazenovia, while South Lewis (6-10) hosts 16th-seeded LaFayette/Onondaga on Tuesday evening.
Class C and D Matches
- Thousand Islands (10-4-2) is seeded ninth in Class C.
- Lyme (13-2) is fifth in Class D.
Lyme will take on 12th-seeded Cincinnatus at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, while Thousand Islands travels to face Sauquoit Valley. Sackets Harbor (12-3-1), the Division III champion, is seeded ninth and will host Belleville Henderson.
Copenhagen (12-4) faces seventh-seeded DeRuyter on Wednesday at 3 p.m., and LaFargeville (6-10) will play third-seeded Poland that evening.
Girls Soccer Division Updates
In girls soccer, the division champions Copenhagen, Beaver River, and Lowville have all secured second seeds in their respective classes. Copenhagen, with a record of 13-2-1, won last year’s Class D sectional title and will host 15th-seeded Madison at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. With a win, they will host another playoff matchup.
Beaver River and Lowville
