Marvel Rivals has announced an exciting new player versus environment (PvE) mode called Marvel Zombies, developed in collaboration with Marvel Animation. This release comes on the heels of the recent conclusion of the Marvel Zombies animated miniseries on Disney Plus.

This new mode, launching just in time for Halloween, allows players to choose from five unique heroes:

• Blade
• Magik
• Jeff
• The Punisher

Hero Abilities

Heroes will execute distinct attacks that set this mode apart from typical gameplay:

• Jeff can charge through hordes of zombies.
• Blade uses bouncing Moon Blades to enhance his combat.
• Magik will remain in her Darkchild form indefinitely.
• Thor shares a similar ability to stay in his Awakened state.

The gameplay, as revealed in the trailer, resembles musou-style action games like Dynasty Warriors, showcasing grand, sweeping attacks against zombie hordes.

Boss Battles

Players will face two formidable bosses, enhancing the challenge:

• Zombie Namor
• Queen of the Dead, or zombie Wanda Maximoff

Both characters appear in the Marvel Zombies miniseries, offering fans a thrilling connection. However, Koo indicates that these bosses will not be easy to defeat.
