The NFL announced Greenlaw’s suspension on October 20, citing his inappropriate behavior towards referee Brad Allen after the game concluded. According to the league’s statement, Greenlaw approached the referee and verbally threatened him, violating league rules regarding conduct towards officials.

- This rule prohibits the use of “abusive, threatening or insulting language or gestures” directed at officials.
Consequences of the Suspension
Greenlaw has a three-day window to appeal his suspension.
