Dominick “Dom” Murtagh, a beloved resident of The Downs in Mullingar, County Westmeath, passed away on October 19, 2025. He died peacefully at Cluain Lir Nursing Home, surrounded by the compassionate care of the staff.

Dom Murtagh was predeceased by his cherished son Jonathan, as well as his parents, Christopher and Frances. His bereavement is felt deeply by his wife, Bernie, and his children: Aisling, Lorraine, Nicola, Dominique, Natasha, and Jason. He is also survived by his brother Brian, sister-in-law Mary, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

- Date: Thursday, October 23
- Time: From 4 PM to 6 PM, concluding with prayers
- Funeral Mass: St. Joseph’s Church, Rathwire
- Date: Friday, October 24
- Time: 12 PM
- Burial: Followed by interment in the local cemetery
