New Drummer and Music Release

Joining the band for this tour will be drummer Ilan Rubin, marking his debut tour with Foo Fighters. Rubin takes over following the departure of Josh Freese, who joined the band after the passing of original drummer Taylor Hawkins in March 2022.

Along with the tour announcement, Foo Fighters are set to release a new single titled “Asking for a Friend.” Frontman Dave Grohl describes the song as a reflection on hope and patience during difficult times. He hinted at more new music to follow.
