Rybakina secured her spot in the quarterfinals by defeating Canadian Leylah Fernandez 6-4, 6-3. Before the finals, Rybakina needs just one more win to qualify for the WTA Finals in Riyadh.

Upcoming Matches

In their next matches, Rybakina will confront Victoria Mboko, who has displayed strong performances this week, defeating notable opponents like Bianca Andreescu. Should she win, Rybakina is expected to face either Anna Kalinskaya or Linda Noskova in the semifinals.

Conversely, Alexandrova’s potential semifinal clash will be against either Belinda Bencic or Karolina Muchova. Both players are on track for a possible rematch in the finals, following their previous encounter in Ningbo.
