Indian Airline Launches Daily Hyderabad-Madinah Flights
IndiGo, India’s largest low-cost airline, has announced an expansion of its operations to Saudi Arabia. Starting November 16, the airline will increase its Hyderabad–Madinah service from four times a week to daily flights. This added frequency aims to facilitate travel for pilgrims and other passengers.

New Service from Mumbai to Madinah
In addition to the Hyderabad route, IndiGo will also launch a daily direct service from Mumbai to Madinah starting November 15. This service is designed to cater to the rising demand for travel between India and Saudi Arabia.

According to Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales at IndiGo, “Madinah is significant for its cultural and spiritual value, attracting pilgrims worldwide, including from India.” He emphasized the airline’s commitment to meet the growing demand for religious tourism.
IndiGo’s Growing Network
This expansion is part of IndiGo’s strategy to enhance its international service. The airline currently operates over 150 flights between India and major cities in Saudi Arabia, including Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah.
IndiGo operates a fleet of over 400 aircraft, conducting more than 2,200 daily flights across 90+ domestic and 40+ international destinations. In FY25, the airline carried over 118 million passengers and was awarded the title of ‘Best Airline in India and South Asia’ by Skytrax at the World Airline Awards 2025.
