High Point Track & Field Unveils 2025-26 Indoor and Outdoor Schedule

The High Point University men’s and women’s track and field teams have released their schedules for the 2025-26 indoor and outdoor seasons. The Panthers will kick off their indoor season in December, featuring 13 meets leading up to key championships.

2025-26 Indoor Schedule Highlights

The indoor season will commence with the Liberty Kick-Off on December 4 in Lynchburg, Virginia. The season includes the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on December 7 in Boston, Massachusetts.

  • December 10: Mid-week meet at Tryon International Collegiate, Tryon, N.C.
  • January 16: Virginia Tech Invitational, Blacksburg, Virginia.
  • January 23-24: Hokie Invite, Blacksburg, Virginia.
  • January 30-31: Brant Tolsma Elite Invitational, Lynchburg, Virginia and Razorback Invitational, Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Championship Preparations

High Point will compete at two meets each weekend during the final three weeks of the indoor season. Key events include:

  • February 6-7: Doc Hale Invitational, Virginia.
  • February 13-14: Darius Dixon Invitational, Lynchburg, Virginia and Tiger Paw Invitational, Clemson, South Carolina.
  • February 21: Virginia Tech Challenge, Blacksburg, Virginia and College Last Chance meet, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The Big South Indoor Championships are set for February 27-28 in Tryon, North Carolina. Qualified athletes will then advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 13-14 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

2025 Outdoor Schedule Overview

The outdoor season begins on March 13 with the Phoenix Invitational hosted by Elon University. High Point’s first home outdoor meet is scheduled for March 20-21 at Vert Stadium.

  • March 20-21: Bod Davidson Team Challenge at Vert Stadium.
  • March 26-28: Raleigh Relays at N.C. State University.
  • April 2-3: Annual Vertklasse Meeting at Vert Stadium.
  • April 9-11: Duke Invitational in Durham, North Carolina and 44 Farms Invite in College Station, Texas.
  • April 16-17: Wake Forest Invitational, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Final Preparations for Championships

In the final weeks of April, the Panthers will also participate in:

  • April 24-25: Charlotte Invitational, Charlotte, North Carolina.
  • May 1-4: Aggie Classic and Duke Twilight.
  • May 6: Liberty Twilight, Lynchburg, Virginia.

The 2025 Big South Outdoor Championships will take place at Vert Stadium from May 11 to May 13. The Dani Palooza Last Chance meet is scheduled for May 17, ahead of the NCAA Championships in Lexington, Kentucky on May 27.

Opportunities Ahead

The NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will return to Eugene, Oregon from June 11-14. High Point athletes will also have the opportunity to qualify for the USA Track & Field U20 Championships and the USA Track & Field Championships set for the summer months.
