Fargo Exotic Pet Expo is back with more attractions and expert speakers
The Fargo Exotic Pet Expo is set to take place on Saturday, October 25th, from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. This year’s event promises an expanded lineup of vendors and educational speakers, catering to enthusiasts of reptiles, reef animals, and various exotic pets.
Event Overview
Originally launched in January 2013 as the Fargo Frag Swap, the expo has evolved significantly. Previously known as the Red River Reef and Reptile Expo, it now encompasses a wide variety of exotic species. Attendees can expect to encounter reptiles, exotic birds, and small animals showcased by vendors from across the region and beyond.

- Kathleen “The Bugman’s Daughter”: Continuing her father’s legacy, Kathleen will present educational content on entomology.
- The Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue, and Education: This organization will share vital information on exotic bird ownership and parrot care.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the event are available in two tiers:
- VIP Tickets: Priced at $40, these tickets provide early access, express lane entry, and several exclusive perks, including:
- An exclusive tote bag filled with vendor items
- Five free drawing tickets
- $5 in Expo Bucks usable at all vendors
- General Admission: Tickets for adults are $10, while teens aged 13-17 can enter for $5. Children aged 12 and under are free.
Additionally, discounts of 50% on adult admissions are available for military personnel, firefighters, police, EMS, and educators.
Event Schedule
The VIP entrance opens at 9 A.M., while general admission starts at 10 A.M. The event will close at 4 P.M., ensuring a full day of activities and learning for all attendees.
