New late-night train on Barrie Line for Blue Jays fans convenience
In response to the increasing demand for fan transportation during the Toronto Blue Jays’ World Series home games, Metrolinx has introduced new late-night train services. These additional trips aim to enhance convenience for fans traveling from the games and ensure their safe return home.
New Late-Night Train on Barrie Line
The Barrie Line will feature a new service departing Union Station at 12:30 a.m. This train will stop at all scheduled stations and is expected to arrive at Allandale Waterfront GO at 2:13 a.m.
Additional Train Services
- Kitchener Line: New trip departs Union Station at 12:35 a.m., arrives at Kitchener GO at 2:27 a.m.
- Stouffville Line: New trip departs Union Station at 12:30 a.m., arrives at Old Elm GO at 1:42 a.m.
- Milton Line: On Saturday, October 25, a new trip will leave Union Station at 12:30 a.m., arriving at Milton GO at 1:30 a.m.
Additionally, on Saturday, a newly added Milton Line trip will depart Milton GO at 5:44 p.m., returning to Union Station by 6:47 p.m. Regular service on both Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East lines will also continue to operate normally for the games on Friday and Saturday.
Service Schedule and Safety Measures
On Sunday, October 26, the Lakeshore West and Lakeshore East lines will run on an hourly schedule, as there are no scheduled games that day. Given the anticipated high attendance at the games, fans are encouraged to travel safely.
