The Tralee Tidy Towns group was awarded a remarkable score of 399, earning them a cash prize of €5,000. Martha Farrell, a member of the group, expressed her excitement about the achievement, noting their position among the top four out of 929 entries nationwide. “It’s incredible for us to achieve this with all the phenomenal work done by our volunteers,” she stated.
This year marks their 13th consecutive gold medal, showcasing the group’s commitment to improving Tralee’s landscape and fostering community pride. Farrell emphasized that maintaining this momentum is essential for their ongoing efforts.
