2026 Free Agent Tracker Unveiled!
The 2026 Free Agent Tracker has been launched, featuring an extensive list of over 170 players. This number is expected to grow as teams adjust their 40-man rosters after the postseason. Decisions regarding player options will also impact the list.
Regular Updates and Features
The Tracker will be continuously updated throughout the offseason. It will reflect qualifying offers and the status of free agents as they sign with new teams. Users can filter data by various criteria including:
- Status (signed/unsigned)
- Previous team
- Signing team
- Player handedness
- Age
- 2025 WAR (Wins Above Replacement)
Projected 2026 WAR will be incorporated shortly after the postseason concludes. Additionally, details from the annual contract crowdsourcing project will be accessible, providing estimates on median contract totals, years, and average annual values.

Players with options will not be included in the Tracker initially. Typically, teams have five days after the World Series to exercise or decline these options. As these players transition to free agency, they will be added to the Tracker.
