Old Dominion, Charley Pride, and Liz Rose to be Inducted into Music City Walk of Fame
The Music City Walk of Fame is set to welcome three distinguished inductees: Old Dominion, Charley Pride (posthumously), and Liz Rose. Their induction ceremony will take place on November 11 at 1 p.m., with the event open to the public.
Celebrating Contributions to Music
Old Dominion will be honored as the 110th star on the Walk of Fame, with Charley Pride and Liz Rose following as the 111th and 112th inductees, respectively. They are recognized for their significant contributions to Nashville’s rich musical heritage.
Ellen Pryor, Chair of Music City Inc., expressed that these inductees exemplify Nashville’s music narrative. She highlighted the journey of Old Dominion from songwriters to prominent artists, Pride’s groundbreaking legacy, and Rose’s impactful songwriting that has shaped a generation.
Inductee Profiles
- Old Dominion: Known for nine No. 1 hits, the group has won eight ACM awards and seven CMA awards as Group of the Year. Their latest album, Barbara, was released on August 22, 2023, and they are currently touring until 2026.
- Charley Pride: A celebrated member of the Grand Ole Opry and a three-time GRAMMY winner, Pride’s notable hits include “Kiss An Angel Good Morning.” He received the CMA Entertainer of the Year award in 1971 and was honored with the Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Liz Rose: Renowned for her collaboration with Taylor Swift, Rose co-wrote 16 of Swift’s songs, including the GRAMMY-winning “White Horse” and the acclaimed “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).” She also penned the award-winning song “Girl Crush” for Little Big Town.
