Contreras is nominated for the catcher position, alongside Hunter Goodman of the Colorado Rockies and Will Smith of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He posted a .260 batting average, with 17 home runs and 76 RBIs in 150 games.
Yelich is the finalist for designated hitter, competing with Shohei Ohtani from the Dodgers and Kyle Schwarber of the Washington Nationals. Following back surgery, Yelich rebounded impressively in 2025, hitting .264 with 29 home runs and driving in 103 runs. He achieved an OPS of .795 across 150 games.
