The 50th Annual Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) is set for Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Arlington, Virginia. This iconic event includes the wheelchair and hand cycle divisions, which will start at 7:15 a.m. The duos will begin at 7:17 a.m., followed by the main marathon at 7:20 a.m. All divisions will proceed along Route 110.

Traffic Advisory for the Marine Corps Marathon

To accommodate the marathon, several roadways in Arlington County will close on race day. These closures will affect both local and regional traffic essential for event safety and efficiency.

Scheduled Road Closures

Road closures will take effect from approximately 3:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on October 26. The following streets will be closed:

  • Fort Myer Drive (Eastbound Langston Boulevard to N. Meade Street)
  • N. Lynn Street (19th Street N. to N. Meade Street)
  • Wilson Boulevard (N. Oak Street to Southbound Route 110)
  • 17th Street N. (Clarendon Boulevard to N. Lynn Street)
  • N. Oak Street (Clarendon Boulevard to 17th Street N.)
  • Southbound Route 110 from I-66 to Washington Boulevard
  • I-395 exit ramps and various local streets near the marathon route

Additionally, numerous streets will have restricted access from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., including N. Nash Street, Long Bridge Drive, and Richmond Highway. Southbound Route 110 will close at 4:00 p.m. on October 25 and reopen at 5:00 p.m. on October 26.
