RCSO Arrests Mother and Son in Deadly Fairmont Shooting
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) has made significant arrests following a deadly shooting incident in Fairmont. A mother and her son are now facing serious charges in connection with the case.
Details of the Fairmont Shooting Incident
The shooting occurred on Friday afternoon at a residence located at 222 Williamson Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a victim, later identified as 35-year-old Ray Dewayne Hodge, who had died from the incident.
Arrests Made
Authorities arrested Aaron Hunt, a 24-year-old resident of Fairmont. He is charged with:
- First-degree murder
- Felony conspiracy
- Stealing, altering, or destroying evidence
Aaron Hunt is currently detained at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
Charges Against Sinador Hunt
Sinador Hunt, 48, also from Fairmont, faces multiple charges, including:
- Accessory after the fact
- Felony conspiracy
- Stealing, altering, or destroying evidence
Sinador is being held at the same detention center with a secured bond set at $100,000.
