Quarterback of the Week

Haynes King, a redshirt senior quarterback from Georgia Tech, shined in his team’s 27-18 victory over Duke. King recorded a total of 325 yards, with 205 passing and 120 rushing yards. This game marked the third occasion this season and the seventh in his career where he achieved over 100 yards both passing and rushing.

In the second half alone, he amassed 240 of his total yards, leading the Yellow Jackets to score on all four of their possessions. His 28-yard touchdown run late in the game sealed an impressive comeback from a 10-7 deficit. King now has 6,132 career passing yards, becoming only the fifth player in Georgia Tech history to surpass 6,000 yards.

Running Back & Rookie of the Week

Cole Tabb, a redshirt freshman running back from Stanford, had an outstanding performance against Florida State. He rushed for a career-high 118 yards on 28 carries, scoring one touchdown. Tabb is the first Stanford running back since 2022 to eclipse 100 rushing yards in a game.

Receiver of the Week

Chris Bell, a senior wide receiver from Louisville, led his team in a thrilling road win against No. 2 Miami. He caught nine passes for 136 yards, including two touchdown receptions of 35 and 36 yards. This performance marked his third consecutive game with over 100 receiving yards, a feat last accomplished by a Louisville player in 2019.

Offensive Lineman of the Week

Trevonte Sylvester, a redshirt senior offensive tackle from Louisville, contributed significantly to his team’s win over Miami. Making his first start of the season, he helped the team limit Miami to just one sack. Sylvester’s performance graded out over 90 percent, and he played a crucial role in the offensive line’s success.

Defensive Lineman of the Week

Kevin Jobity Jr., a senior defensive lineman from Syracuse, stood out in his team’s game against Pittsburgh. He achieved a career-high with three sacks, contributing to a loss of 15 yards for Pitt. Jobity also recorded six tackles, solidifying his position as a key defensive player.

Linebacker of the Week

Kam Robinson, a junior linebacker from Virginia, made a game-changing play by securing a safety against Washington State. This pivotal moment allowed Virginia to take the lead late in the fourth quarter. Robinson also tallied eight tackles and is currently second on his team for total tackles this season.

Defensive Back of the Week

Jy Gilmore, a redshirt junior defensive back from Georgia Tech, impressed with 11 tackles in the victory against Duke. His defensive presence was instrumental in limiting Duke to fewer than half of their average points per game. Gilmore’s efforts contributed to a defensive performance that showcased the strength of the Georgia Tech defense.

Specialist of the Week

Sam Keltner, a redshirt freshman placekicker from SMU, excelled by making a personal best of three field goals in a win against Clemson. His field goals included a career-long 51-yarder along with two kicks from 48 yards. Keltner’s performance also featured six touchbacks on kickoffs.
