The community of Galway remembers Barbara Coyne, née Joyce, who passed away on October 23, 2025. Her legacy is celebrated by her family and friends, as well as by the numerous lives she touched throughout her journey.

Obituaries and Funeral Arrangements

Barbara, formerly of Clonbur, Co. Galway, was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Jimmy, as well as her sisters, Mary B and Nora Ann. She will be fondly remembered by her husband, Martin, and her three daughters, Linda, Caroline, and Grace.

Family and Loved Ones

Barbara is survived by her sons-in-law, Donncha, Justin, and Keith. She has eight beloved grandchildren: Emily, Kate, Alice, Sienna, Penny, Willow, Leon, and Elliana. She is also mourned by her brothers, Myles and Tony, along with siblings-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbors, and friends.

Funeral Services

The wake will take place at Burke’s Funeral Home in Clonbur (F12 N9T8) on Tuesday from 5 PM, followed by a removal at 7 PM to Saint Patrick’s Church, Clonbur. The Funeral Mass for Barbara will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon, with subsequent burial at Rosshill Cemetery, Clonbur.
