Georgia Commit Jared Curtis Attends Vanderbilt Practice: Here’s Why

Vanderbilt University recently welcomed Jared Curtis, a highly-rated quarterback from Nashville Christian School. This visit occurred on October 22 during a practice session. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound senior attended alongside his coach, Jeff Brothers, in a special event called “senior shadow day.”

Jared Curtis: A Rising Star in College Football

Jared Curtis is a standout prospect in the 2026 class. He is currently ranked as the No. 1 quarterback and No. 4 overall player in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite. Despite his commitment to the University of Georgia, he remains open to exploring opportunities, including attending Vanderbilt’s game against Missouri on October 25 as a fan.

Season Performance and Aspirations

This season, Curtis has shown exceptional skill on the field. He has accumulated:

  • 1,243 passing yards
  • 20 touchdown passes
  • 4 interceptions
  • 225 rushing yards
  • 4 rushing touchdowns

Though Curtis missed over two games due to an ankle injury, he has made significant contributions to his team. Additionally, he is pursuing the TSSAA all-time career passing touchdown record, which stands at 131, set by Charlie High in 2012. Currently, Curtis is 19 touchdowns away from tying this record.

Upcoming Matches for Nashville Christian

Nashville Christian has an impressive record of 8-0 and is 4-0 in the DII-A Middle Region. They are set to host Ezell-Harding, whose current record is 5-3 and 2-2 in the region, on October 24. Should Nashville Christian progress to the DII-A final, Curtis could have as many as five games left to chase the record.

As the football season continues, all eyes will be on Jared Curtis as he aims to solidify his legacy in Tennessee high school football while maintaining his commitment to Georgia.
